Wonderware SmartGlance Android Release | Enhanced Landscape mode, new Range Alerts

Today we released an update to the Wonderware SmartGlance native app for Android containing two new major features:

• New range-based alerts
• Enhanced support for landscape mode

Range-based alerts

On the left hand side of this illustration, we see just one example of the many traditional alert expressions to choose from. We already supported simple expressions to trigger alerts such as "greater than", "equal to" and "less than" to name just a few examples.

Now we added the ability to trigger an alert based on a number that is within a configurable range as illustrated on the right hand side. This is great for scenario's that are sensitive to both upper and lower limits.

Enhanced Support for Landscape mode

You may have seen a recent blog post describing this feature in more detail as it applied to the iPhone and iPad platforms. Now we have brought it to the Android platform.
